Going all completionist and finishing up the Realm of Torment Quests and finding all of the neat little areas that nobody ever goes...

how many have visited the Atrocity Library?

how about explored the Leech tunnels?

and then I pondered how many(actually how few) Bearer's Longbows are probably in the game

I remember that library, I think! It's been years now, but I remember it being a royal pain for H/H and me to fight out way there (I don't avoid aggro - at all!) but finding it awesome when I finally got to it. Leech tunnels aren't ringing any bells, though.

Thanks & cheers for posting that! I may just have to steal your idea and go do some carto/vanq'ing in those murky maps. I'd forgotten how much easier things like max LB titles and slightly-less-clueless-noobish bars might make the place.

There's a Pug (dog) standing in the water trough that's up the first set of stairs
right outside Kaineng Center.

Must have passed that spot a thousand times before I noticed it.

Baby P Nut constantly dancing in JQ? Just found out that he/she has been there for years. Yesterday was the first time I actually noticed.

The log-in icon for the longest time was a helmet that wasn't in the game. The icon was removed in an update. A year later that helmet was added to the game. The knights helmet. Well....actually the whole set was added to the game.

True story.

On friend's list, you can just double click your friend's name to start a whisper. You don't have to click the little icon next to them.

If you drag a weapon to the button in your inventory named Weapon Sets, that weapon will be added to the current set.

Here is one that Firefighter Fred noticed the other day that made me go after 6+ years of playing and 4+ years of trading (involving lurking a lot of Ventari's threads and looking at a lot of items in trade windows.)

The merch value of purple items seems to always be divisible by 2.
The merch value of gold items seems to always be divisible by 4.
(except for cases where they have "Improved Sale Value" mods)

There are some really cool areas in the Realm of Torment but there really is just no reason to go to them. I've only been out exploring the areas a handful of times and one of those times was to cap Jagged Bones. I would think that all of the greens except for a few (Exuro's Will) are fairly rare.

There's a lot of really neat details that you miss in-game in the King Size Skill Icon thread.

Wow, Ive never seen a login screen other than the EotN one. Wish they'd rotate through the different ones!

Requested many, many, many times before, but alas impossible, as apparently ANet don't have the original files containing the background images any more. I miss the Factions background and music...

Great thread, I really enjoyed reading through this. I didn't know the one about dragging weapons to weapon sets and the link sharing template easy way.

I still love the original Prophecies opening music. Whenever it started, back in the day, I always felt like I was about to dive into adventure. Good thing I bought the CE and can play it anytime I want....
